VitaNails are salon-finish press-on nails you apply at home in about 15 minutes. The nails are MABS, a clear acrylic-ABS blend that is lighter and more flexible than the hard plastic in drugstore press-ons, so they bend with your finger instead of popping off. Everything you need to apply and remove them is in the box.

With clean, dry nails and firm pressure at application, a set lasts 10 to 14 days on the adhesive tabs and 2 to 3 weeks with the nail glue. Both are in the box. Avoid water for the first hour after applying.

You do not need to know your size. Lay each press-on against your natural nail at the widest point: it should meet the edge of the nail without touching skin on either side. If you are between two, take the smaller one and file the side of the press-on lightly. With 32 nails in 16 sizes, two of each, there is always a matching pair for each finger. Push back your cuticles, file the surface of each nail lightly, then wipe with the alcohol pad and do not touch the nails again. Apply a tab, or one dot of glue on your natural nail and one on the back of the press-on. Line the press-on up under the cuticle, press from the cuticle down and hold for 15 seconds. Keep your hands dry for an hour. The whole set takes about 15 minutes.

Tabs for most people: 10 to 14 days of wear, no damage, and the nails come off clean so you can reuse them with fresh tabs. Glue when you need one look to survive two to three weeks, a wedding week or a trip: it bonds harder, but a glued set is single wear. Glue is for one-time use, so do not try to re-glue a set. Nail glue is a cyanoacrylate: keep it away from eyes, lips and skin, never use it on a broken or sore nail, and keep it out of reach of children.

Yes, if you applied with tabs. Remove gently, clean off the old adhesive, and reapply with fresh tabs. Most sets are good for two or three wears. Glued sets are single wear.

No, not when they are applied and removed properly. Tabs come off with warm water and gentle lifting. Glued nails need a longer soak. Never pull a nail off dry; that is what damages the nail underneath.

Soak your fingertips in warm soapy water for several minutes, then lift each nail from the sides with the cuticle stick. If one resists, soak longer. Never force or pull them off.

Yes. Once set, they handle hand washing, showers and everyday activities. Keep them dry for the first hour after application, and expect long hot soaks to shorten wear time.

Yes. File the sides for fit or the tip for length. A clear top coat adds shine and strength and helps the finish last the full two weeks.

Yes. Unopened, unused sets can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. For hygiene reasons opened or worn sets cannot be returned. Damaged or wrong items are replaced free.
